The app
What is Macromaxxing?
An iPhone and iPad app with recipes for food you actually want to eat, each with its calories and protein per serving. It plans a day that hits your targets, makes a shopping list sorted by aisle, and lets you log what you ate.
Is it on Android or the web?
No. Macromaxxing is on iPhone and iPad only.
Where does my target come from?
You answer a few questions in the app: your goal, your stats and how much you train. It works out your daily calories and protein from those. You can change the target any time in Profile.
Do I have to cook every meal?
No. Quick Add logs a meal out, or anything that isn't in the app.
Can I eat vegetarian or vegan?
Yes. Set it in the app and it only plans recipes that fit.
The numbers
Where do the calories and protein come from?
Every ingredient is weighed in grams and counted from USDA FoodData Central. The app adds them up per serving.
Real values still vary with brands, swaps, portions and how you cook it.
Is this medical advice?
No. The numbers are for information. Check ingredients and allergens yourself, and ask a doctor or dietitian if you need medical advice.
Subscription and billing
How does the subscription work?
Macromaxxing is a subscription through the App Store. The App Store shows the plans and the price in your currency before you subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Macromaxxing. Cancel at least a day before it renews to stop the next charge.
Deleting your Macromaxxing account doesn't cancel the subscription.
How do refunds work?
Apple handles payments, so refunds go through Apple. See subscription help for the steps.
Your data
Where is my data stored?
Your logs, plans, targets and preferences are stored on your device. The app uses an anonymous account to deliver recipes and check your subscription.
You can turn analytics off in Profile > Privacy & legal.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile > Privacy & legal > Delete account. It removes your account and the data on your phone. It doesn't cancel an Apple subscription; do that in Settings.
